Search the way your board works

Pick jobs by category, US state, metro, remote or on-site, pay and keywords.

One clean record per job

Title, company, locations, remote, hybrid or on-site, employment type and the employer's apply link, in the same shape from every system.

Pay with its source

Each pay range says whether it came from the employer's pay field or the job description. If no pay is stated, the field stays empty.

Closed when it's gone

When an employer takes a job down, Backspin closes it and tells your board.

Low-quality sales flagged

Commission-only, door-to-door and retail sales jobs are marked so your board can leave them out.

How it works

1. Connect

Get an API key and add it to your board's server.

2. Pull jobs

Ask for the jobs your board covers. Backspin returns every open match, each with the employer's apply link.

3. Stay in sync

Check for changes once an hour to get every job added, changed or closed since your last check. Backspin rechecks each employer about every six hours.

For developers

A read-only JSON API with one key per board. Every field says where it came from: the employer's ATS (applicant tracking system), or the job's own title, location or description. Unknown values stay empty.

Each request returns up to 500 matching jobs.

  • Filter by category, state, metro, workplace, pay and keywords.

  • Leave out flagged sales jobs with exclude=commission_only.

  • Then call /v1/changes once an hour for every job added, changed or closed.
