Halbrisk started with a simple idea: people who work by the hour should not wait a week to see their wages. Its app tracks shifts for restaurants, warehouses and cleaning companies, works out the pay and creates a payment the moment a manager approves the shift.

Accounts are verified before the first transfer, so payroll no longer bounces back days later. Workers who opt in to daily pay receive their money over instant rails, and everything else goes out by same day ACH.
