ACH, same day ACH, domestic wires, FedNow instant payments and printed checks, all through the same payments endpoint.

FedNow settles in seconds at any hour. Wires settle the same business day, same day ACH by the evening and standard ACH the next business day.

The receiving bank sends a return code with every return, such as R01 for insufficient funds or R03 for an unknown account. You will find it on the payment and in the webhook.

ACH payments can be cancelled until they are sent to the Federal Reserve. Wires and FedNow payments are final once sent.

Call the routing number lookup before you send. If the bank does not accept FedNow, fall back to same day ACH.

Same day ACH closes at 4:45 pm Eastern and wires at 5:00 pm Eastern on business days. FedNow has no cut-off.
